The nrg Special Tariff is an electricity supply program that all electricity suppliers are under the obligation to offer to their customers, pursuant to the provisions of Law 5066/2023.
The nrg Special Tariff is available to all low voltage customers, it has no contract duration commitment, while it combines:
- Special discounts on the monthly fixed fee, as announced monthly by the company
- Zero guarantee deposit with standing payment order
The nrg Special Tariff is a fluctuating rate electricity supply program, which is offered mandatorily by all electricity suppliers pursuant to the provisions of Law 5066/2023. The program has a Basic Supply Rate and a Fluctuation Mechanism, both of which are known in advance and announced on a monthly basis by nrg.
Additional benefits with the nrg Special Tariff:
- Significant monthly fixed fee discounts with e-bill or standing payment order activation
- Additional monthly fee discount and zero guarantee deposit, with the activation of a standing payment order for your bill payment.
In the event that you do not select the standing payment order option, the nrg Special Tariff program participates in the BONUS TIME Reward Program that refunds up to 30% of your guaranty deposit! You just have to:
- Pay your first 6 bills, from the beginning of our collaboration, by the due date and get back 20% of the guarantee deposit!
- Pay your first 12 bills, from the beginning of our collaboration, by the due date and get back 10% of the guarantee deposit!

- Photo or photocopy of both sides of the identity card
- Your last actual electricity bill
- Copy of the lease from the relevant Tax Office in case of leased property
- Solemn declaration by the customer regarding the ownership of the property

Upper limit for Lu Safety = 0.080€/kWh
Low limit for LI Safety = 0.070€/kWh
The Lu and LL factors are the limits of the safety area within which the Fluctuation Mechanism is not activated, and therefore the Final Supply Rate is based on the Basic Supply Rate
TΕΑΜ−1 = ΤΕΑΜ−1 means the average of the day-ahead market clearing prices of the previous month of consumption ‘M’, as published by the Energy Exchange on a daily basis here.
Monthly fee and fee discounts:
- 5.0 € / month initial monthly fee
- 4.5 €/month with e-bill
- 4.0 € / month with standing payment order
- 3.5 € / month with e-bill and standing payment order
